Here at The WD, we honor good stories, and that’s pretty much why we decided to build a bar in the middle of a bookstore. After all, what’s a writer without lives to witness?

Or a bar without people experiencing their own?

Every day at dusk, we’ll dim the lights and turn up the music to put you at ease, in case you feel like a drink (or two) with us. Our sole intention is to explore together how McCarthy, Toole, or Bolaño become what they became.
